A community-led overnight patrol initiative to help protect our neighbourhood
Lambeth is a great place to call home, but recent increases in vehicle break-ins, theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity have left many residents feeling frustrated and concerned.
Many neighbours have invested in cameras, shared footage, and reported incidents, but too often the outcome is the same: damage has been done, and criminals continue to return.
We believe a visible presence on our streets can help make Lambeth a less attractive target.
We are exploring a community-funded overnight security patrol that would place trained private security personnel on Lambeth roads every night from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM, 365 days a year.
The goal is simple:
Create a visible deterrent. Increase neighbourhood awareness. Give residents greater peace of mind.

How It Works
A stronger community starts with neighbours working together.
The patrol will be funded entirely by participating households through a monthly contribution. The more neighbours who participate, the stronger the coverage becomes.
Funds will support:
✓ Marked security patrol vehicles monitoring Lambeth streets overnight from 11:30 PM - 5:00 AM, 365 days a year
✓ Participating home and vehicle decals to show community involvement and increase visibility (coming later this year)
✓ Community awareness efforts including updates, newsletters, and local outreach
